WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER IN PARIS

Paris Wedding Videographer

You want a film that hits you in the chest twenty years from now. One that makes your kids ask why you are crying over breakfast. I make those films.

A Film Production Studio That Shoots Weddings

Most wedding videographers learned on weddings. I learned on film sets. Tanit Studio started in commercial and narrative production, working with directors, cinematographers, and editors who obsess over light, movement, and pacing. I brought every bit of that into the wedding world because your love story deserves the same craft as a feature film.

Based between Paris and Dubai, I film weddings across France and beyond. My couples tend to care deeply about aesthetics but also about honesty. They want something real, not a highlight reel set to trending audio. They want to hear Grandma laughing. They want the vows to land the way they did in the room.

That is what I deliver: cinematic wedding films rooted in documentary instinct. Beautiful to watch, true to the day.

My Approach: Documentary Meets Cinema

I do not stage moments. I do not ask you to walk toward the camera in slow motion while holding hands. I observe, anticipate, and capture what actually happens. The result is a film that feels both polished and authentic.

My background in film production shapes everything: how I use natural light, how I frame a toast, how I cut between the ceremony and the reception so the story builds and breathes. I shoot with cinema cameras (RED, Sony FX series) and prime lenses, giving your film a look that is distinctly different from standard wedding video.

Color grading is where I spend the most post-production time. Every film gets a custom grade that matches the mood of the day. A winter wedding at a stone chateau looks nothing like a summer celebration in a Provencal garden, and the color should reflect that.

Sound matters as much as image. I record audio independently, capturing vows, speeches, and ambient sound with professional wireless microphones. When you watch the film, you hear every word clearly, layered with the natural sounds of the day.

Wedding Services I Offer

Full-day coverage is my standard approach. I arrive during preparations and stay through the first dances. This gives me the raw material for a complete story, not just a collection of moments.

My cinematic highlight films run 5 to 8 minutes and distill your entire day into a piece that feels like a short film. These are what most couples share with family and friends.

For couples who want to relive the full day, my long-form wedding documentaries run 30 to 60 minutes. They include complete ceremonies, full speeches, and extended moments that did not make the highlight cut.

Elopement films are something I love. Two people, a stunning location, no guest list to manage. These intimate films often become my most creative work because I can take more artistic risks.

I also offer drone aerial footage for outdoor ceremonies and venues, pre-wedding films and engagement shoots in Paris, and same-day edits for couples who want a short film screened at their reception.

Weddings Across France

Paris remains my home base, and I know the city intimately. Elopements at the Tuileries Garden with the Louvre as a backdrop. Ceremonies in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower. Receptions in private apartments in Le Marais. Small celebrations in the winding streets of Montmartre. Each neighborhood offers a different Paris, and I know how to film them all.

Chateau weddings are a specialty. I have filmed at Chateau de Chantilly, where the formal gardens create natural symmetry in every shot. At Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte, where candlelit receptions in the grand salon feel like stepping into a painting. At Versailles, where the scale demands a filmmaker who knows how to handle grandeur without losing the intimate moments.

Provence pulls me south regularly. Stone farmhouses, lavender fields, golden hour light that lasts forever. The Luberon valley, Aix-en-Provence, the Alpilles. These locations practically film themselves, but knowing the light patterns and the best angles makes a real difference.

The Cote d'Azur brings its own energy. Beach ceremonies in Saint-Tropez, villa weddings in Cap Ferrat, cliff-side celebrations in Eze. The Mediterranean light is harsh at midday and extraordinary at sunset, and I plan my coverage around those shifts.

Loire Valley chateaux, Bordeaux vineyard estates, Normandy countryside, the French Alps. I have worked across every region. For multicultural weddings, which I film often, I bring sensitivity to diverse traditions and an understanding of how different ceremonies flow.

The Process: What to Expect

Working with me should reduce your stress, not add to it. Here is exactly what happens from first contact to final delivery.

I start with a conversation. Video call, phone call, or coffee if you are in Paris. I want to hear about your day, your priorities, and what kind of film you imagine. I ask a lot of questions. What music do you love? Are there family dynamics I should know about? What moments matter most? This is not a sales pitch. It is how I start to understand your story.

Once you book, I build a detailed shot plan together with you. Not a rigid schedule, but a framework that ensures I capture everything important. I coordinate with your photographer, planner, and venue team so everyone knows the timeline.

On your wedding day, I arrive early and stay late. I work quietly, moving through the day without directing or interrupting. You will barely notice me, but I will notice everything.

Post-production takes 8 to 12 weeks. I edit, colour grade, mix audio, and license music. You receive a private online preview before the final delivery, and I welcome feedback. The finished films are delivered in 4K resolution via a private download link and an archival USB drive.

Why Film Production Experience Matters

A wedding day moves fast. Moments do not repeat. There is no second take on the first look, no reshoot of the father-daughter dance. The difference between a filmmaker and someone who owns a camera is what happens when conditions are difficult.

Low light in a medieval chapel? I have lit narrative films in worse. Unexpected rain pushing the ceremony indoors? I have redirected entire production schedules on tighter timelines. A packed dance floor with no room to move? I know how to shoot handheld in close quarters and make it look intentional.

My editing background is in commercial post-production. I understand pacing, tension, and release. I know when to let a moment breathe and when to cut. That instinct does not come from watching wedding films. It comes from cutting hundreds of commercial and narrative projects.

Eiffel Tower & Trocadero

The most iconic backdrop in the world. Best filmed at sunrise or sunset when the crowds thin and the light turns golden. Perfect for elopements and couple films.

Chateau de Chantilly

Formal French gardens, a Renaissance art collection, and interiors that rival Versailles. The grounds offer endless framing options, and the ceremony hall has extraordinary natural light.

Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte

Candlelit evenings are the signature here. Over 2,000 candles illuminate the gardens on summer weekends. I use this light extensively in my films, creating a warmth no artificial source can match.

Montmartre & Sacre-Coeur

Cobblestone streets, cafe terraces, and panoramic views over Paris. Montmartre works beautifully for intimate celebrations and has a romantic atmosphere that reads naturally on camera.

Tuileries Garden & Louvre Surroundings

Geometric paths and classical sculpture create a composed visual language. The Louvre pyramid at dusk is striking, and the garden offers sheltered spots even in winter.

Palace of Versailles

Grand scale demands a filmmaker who knows how to balance spectacle with intimacy. The Hall of Mirrors, the Orangerie, the gardens. Every angle is a painting, and I have filmed here enough to know the best ones.

Domaine de Chantilly

Beyond the chateau itself, the surrounding estate includes stables, forests, and lakeside settings. Ideal for couples who want variety in their film without leaving a single location.

Provencal Estates (Luberon & Alpilles)

Stone walls, olive groves, and lavender. The light in Provence from May through September is among the best in Europe. I recommend late afternoon ceremonies to capture that warm, directional sun.

Full-day coverage ranges from 4,500 to 8,000 EUR including two filmmakers, 10 to 12 hours of coverage, a cinematic highlight film, and a full ceremony edit. Destination surcharges apply for weddings outside the Ile-de-France region.

Add-ons include drone footage (from 500 to 1,500 EUR), same-day edits (from 1,200 to 2,500 EUR), extended documentaries, and second-day coverage.

What affects the price: the length of coverage, crew size, travel distance, number of final deliverables, and turnaround time. Rush delivery within 4 weeks is available at an additional cost.

QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions couples ask me most often. If yours is not here, get in touch and I will answer it directly.

I recommend booking 8 to 12 months ahead for peak season (May through October). For off-season and weekday weddings, 4 to 6 months is usually fine. I film a limited number of weddings per year to keep quality high, so popular dates do book early.
Absolutely. I film weddings across France and internationally. Provence, the Cote d'Azur, the Loire Valley, Bordeaux, and the Alps are all regions I work in regularly. For destinations outside mainland France, I add travel costs to the quote, but I keep them transparent and reasonable.
Standard turnaround is 8 to 12 weeks. You will receive a private preview link where you can watch the film and share feedback before I finalize. Rush delivery within 4 weeks is available for an additional fee.
Yes. I work with licensed music libraries that offer a huge range of styles. I select tracks based on the mood of your day and present options for your approval. If you have a specific song in mind, I can discuss licensing options, though commercial tracks require separate rights clearance.
Very well. I coordinate closely with your photographer before and during the day to make sure I complement your photographer rather than compete for angles. I have worked with most of the top wedding photographers in Paris and have strong professional relationships built on mutual respect.
Rain does not stop me. Some of my best footage has been shot in the rain. Water on cobblestones, umbrellas, reflections in puddles. It adds atmosphere and visual texture. I bring weather protection for all my equipment and adapt my approach to make the most of whatever conditions the day brings.
Elopement packages range from 2,500 to 4,500 EUR. Full-day wedding coverage ranges from 4,500 to 8,000 EUR. The final price depends on coverage hours, crew size, travel, and deliverables. I provide a detailed quote after the initial conversation so there are no surprises.
