The Filmmaker Behind the Lens

Tanit Studio grew out of a freelance camera bag and a conviction that commercial video could be more than corporate wallpaper. I started shooting over a decade ago, working with small brands that needed big results on tight budgets. The constraint turned out to be a gift: it forced every frame to earn its place.

Those early projects led to larger ones. A hotel chain in Dubai. A fitness brand expanding across the Gulf. An automotive launch that needed to feel cinematic on a timeline that felt impossible. Each project stretched what I could do and added a new city to the map.

Today I operate between Dubai and Paris. No layers, no account managers. You talk directly to the person making the work. When a project needs extra hands on set, I bring in freelancers I have worked with for years, but the creative direction, the camera, and the edit always stay with me.

I exist to make films that move people and sell products. Those two goals are not in conflict. A viewer who feels something remembers the brand behind that feeling. A viewer who skips your ad remembers nothing.

Every project I take on starts with one question: what do you need this video to do? Not how pretty it should look or how many drone shots it should have. The look follows the function. When the function is clear, the creative decisions become obvious.

I am not trying to win festival awards (though I would not say no). I am trying to give my clients a competitive advantage through video that performs better than what their competitors are putting out. That means work that is sharp, honest, and built to serve a specific business objective.

You talk to me from the first call to the final delivery. No handoffs, no surprises. The person you discuss your project with is the same person behind the camera and in the edit suite.

I plan thoroughly so I can move fast on shoot days. A well-prepared production wastes nobody's time and captures better material. I send detailed shot lists, location scouts, and schedules before any camera rolls.

Feedback rounds are structured but never bureaucratic. I present rough cuts with clear notes on what is locked and what is open for discussion. Most projects go through two to three revision rounds before final delivery.

I am honest about what I can and cannot do. If your budget does not match your expectations, I will tell you early and suggest a scope that works. If a concept needs rethinking, I will say so before you spend money on a shoot that will not land.
